This is a simple tape drive utilities using mt-st and tar command as backend. It can backup and restore data using tape backups
NOTE: This program was not yet tested beacause I dont have an actual tape drive. I need some feedback about this program.

Bookmarked. I am very, but very interested. I have a lot of stuff on tapes. I even bought an 'encodeur' MP3 for transfer on my computer. Perhaps that is not the subject. Il will come back to translate the topic, in a quiet period, it's worth of it. (we need time to well understand what is described in English, and Linux)

I bought a tape recorder especially to transfer songs from my old tapes to my computer.You just have to set alamixer (PF6) to regognize Where the tape recorder is plugged, then use Precord.or better . Audacity
