Basilisk browser

#1 Post by artsown »

In addition to Waterfox and Palemoon, Basilisk looks like a very capable
alternative to puppy-unfriendly Firefox:

Like Waterfox, the Linux version is 64 bit only ... and like Waterfox,
alsa is supported. DRM can be enabled, and I've heard that Netflix
works.

Edit: I posed a question concerning alsa support on the basilisk-
palemoon forum and received this answer:

https://github.com/MoonchildProductions ... issues/115

So unless some severe problem arises, alsa will remain enabled in
basilisk as it is in palemoon.

It seems likely to me that the waterfox devs used similar reasoning
and decided to not follow the screwy change to firefox one year ago.
