Audacity

#1 Post by jmsantos »

I'm using LXPUP ARTFUL and I tried to install Audacity from Puppy Package Manager, it returned the following missing library: libportaudio.so.2. Audacity appears on the menu, but it doesn't open. What can I do to solve this problem, could someone hep me please? (I'm not a native English speaker :? ).

I have tested working in artfulpup+10 the following audacity 2.1.3:

After installing the pet a symlink is needed. Open a console and type:

Code: Select all

ln -s /usr/lib/libFLAC.so.8.3.0 /usr/lib/libFLAC++.so.6

It is working, thank you very much! It wasn't necessary although installing the symlink, It said something like that: error, file exists.
