Puppy Package Manager Needs Improving

#1 Post by Lassar »

I tried using the puppy pet manager to install wine
in xenialpup64.

It did the 64 bit wine okay, but the 32 bit wine did not work.

A option needs to be add so you can have a choice to
get 32 bit programs, and libraries.

How about using synaptic to make a PPM for xenialpup64?

Enable a way to add ppa's to the PPM.

There are several third party programs that would be
nice to get using the PPM.

I also find ppm a bit rough around the edges. For instance, sometimes in current ppm, when I select one entry, it puts two of them (different versions of the same program) into the right column, and there's no way to get rid of one without the other. I noticed that if I go into "Use traditional, non-auto, user interface" in Options then try it there seems to be no issue though.
