So what if they do make some money by people going to their web site.

What do you think is paying for all that free access to stuff on the Internet?

This forum costs money to operate. :shock:

I would not mind having to see a few adds for stuff, if it helped to keep the forum free to look at and use.

Agree! Distrowatch is a good bunch whom provide some very useful & enjoyable information - I'd rather they make a few $$ on ads than disappear (as too often happens with good free stuff!).
