Recent Puppy-based distros seem to have been released without an RTL8201CL/(and other suffixes) driver, neither loaded nor listed???These include Slackos, XSlackos and even EASY.
Not sure whether this popular NIC might also be referred to by a (nic !!)-name such as Tulip, Rhine, etc.?
Hope developers can advise and/or rectify this apparent oversight.
Recent Puppies missing RTL8201CL NIC driver?

Thanks, ETP. Yes, I've read many enquiries on the InterWeb about this NIC, lots from 'doze owners, too. These boards/this NIC have/has been working with Puppies flawlessly since BK's first incarnations - now they don't. Similar complaints from 'buntu users. Mint - never any issues, so someone out there in Linux world has a proper understanding of where it's at! Sure kernels have changed, HW has changed but some developers haven't understood the basic requirements, and afraid it's SW which has spooked this user over the centuries...
