cant connect to my wifi

cant connect to my wifi

ok i installed the nisawrapper windows driver to my d-link dwl-g122 usb wifi adapter its set the act light is blinking, i did a scan and from my wifi network saved it, then clicked use this.... and it tests it, but still say not connected to wireless... why?

btw i'am using puppy version 2.13, if you need any other questions please and, also i even put my key in and didnt work, another do i need to fill in "network id"? if so what is that, i dont remember see any or here that name before...been kind i'am more knowledgeable in windows then linux, but i still like to play around with os's!

Once you have run modprobe ndiswrapper in a console then open Rutilt (in network on the menu) and go to the survey tab select where you whant to connect to and click on connect.
You will then have to enter your WEP key (if your wireless router uses one and then select to use dhcp. You should then be connected

Out'a curiosity, what ver d-link & what drivers? Have you tried the auto dhcp box?
