Agena programming language

#1 Post by musher0 »

Hello all.

You can now find here an sfs and a pet archive, as well as two manuals
in pdf, for the Agena programming language.

To learn more about it, please visit: http://agena.sourceforge.net.

~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpts from its web page:
"Agena is an easy-to-learn procedural programming language designed
to be used in science, scripting, and many other applications.
...
The syntax resembles a very simplified Algol 68 with elements taken
from Maple, Lua and SQL.
...
Agena is the tenth brightest star in the night sky."
~~~~~~~~~~

Agena, the star, is better known under the name "Bêta Centauri" and is
seen only from the Southern hemisphere of the Earth. Some astronomers
call it "Hadar". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_Centauri

I "puppyfied" the Debian package offered at the Agena repo.

Happy learning!

In case it isn't obvious, if you load the sfs file for Agena,
you DON'T install the pet, and vice versa.
