Hope my hosting provider doesn't freak out.

Remember? You once sent me an USB flash drive with Studio 13.37 for free, though I couldn't use it, as there was some graphics, keyboard and mouse issues.

I would like to test the Xenial based version, since I can run Xenial Puppy on my machines.

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

It works for me from HDD (no dvd or usb stick).

I just copied these 4 files to /mnt/sda2/studio (screenshot attached) then added this line to grub4dos:

Code: Select all

title
  root (hd0,1)
  kernel /studio/vmlinuz psubdir=studio pmedia=ataflash
  initrd /studio/initrd.gz
This is on an old 32-bit Pentium M laptop with 1GB RAM (2GB swap).

People here on murga are just unrepentant, unremorseful freeloaders who think everything should be free in life.

Uhmmm, and, well, yeah, you know, I only downloaded because I wanna check what all the fuss is about...

Mucho gracias!
