Possible reason why forum emails go to your spam folder

The forum has from time to time been spammed by puppy mills trying to sell puppies online. I can't imagine how that works but I suspect that these pests post all over the Internet, so that email spam filters everywhere have learned to view with suspicion any email that contains the word puppy. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it.

Possibly all the youtube cat video stars are just trying to suppress the competition?

Hotmail/outlook is even worse. Anything with the word Linux in it seems to just get deleted completely, not even going to the junk folder. I had to use gmail to register I think (so that it would at least go into the Spam folder). Maybe if the title of the email was "Puppy MS Windows" the email would get through in hotmail.
