Muppy 6 printer config not retained

An unusual challenging problem in Muppy 6?

Here is the scenerio. Running Muppy 6 happily install all my usual program, but one thing I've noticed, I keep losing my printer on every boot. Using CUPS 0.21r, with a Sumsumg CLP510 colour laser. Once I have installed the printer it will happily print everything you throw at it. Then next boot it won't. I have to reinstall CUPS again, then it's OK. When I look in Printing Manager sometimes I can see the printer is still there, on some occasion it's not. The odd thing when the printer is showing install when I start to print the printer will go through the motion and a BLANK page will come out. Obviously MUPPY knows it's there but why a blank page, and when reinstalling it I can print properly.

Anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening.

I'd met something same as y'd met
I did many thing (in Puppy 213). One important thing: 'I 'd installed the new version of gs (gs8.54). Now my printer works, prints normally.
May you try?
(I think: The apps in Puppy will translate the doc to .ps before calling the serber printer?)
