which dual band AC USB adapter work easy with Puppy? |
|
I was able to get this working Edimax EW-7811UAC with latest Tahrpup64 but sometimes does not connect after a reboot (had to install slacko kernel, see here for details http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=98095 )
Anyone know of another dual band AC USB adapter that work easily and reliably with puppy?

Please read the new discussion in the 8812au thread.
The other major AC-mode chipset is the mt7610u. Its Linux drivers have been dreadful, but may finally be improving.

Just to be clear, you have tried everything I suggested here? Because I am getting excellent results with this setup.
Simply saying "it does not work well" is not helpful.
