WireGuard is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography. It aims to be faster, simpler, leaner, and more useful than IPSec, while avoiding the massive headache. It intends to be considerably more performant than OpenVPN. Re: WireGuard
Well, it's open source so that's a positive. I'll need to do more research though. I'll probably look for openVPN first if I decide to get a VPN but I'll keep this in mind as a second option. Another popular piece of VPN software is called bitmask. Bitmask is offered by riseup.netlabbe5 wrote:https://www.wireguard.io/

Does anyone have an invite for riseup.net? One downside of bitmask though is that you can't use it if you want to tunnel through tor into your VPN.
