Dr.Web native antivirus for Linux

#1 Post by takenp »

Hi!

Here is fully functional commercial (30 days free) legal antivirus software 32bit. I made it work under Puppy (tahrpup 6.0.2) coz original install script failed to install and afterall run in puppy. Fixed and packed to .sfs

You may expect that sfs module can drop license counter into the space after unmounting and you can get 30 days free period every next time. Yes, that may happen but may not ;)

Anyway its quite good and useful, and fast. I personally found few viruses in the ~/.wine folder (su spot -c wine in the future!!! ) and cured 'em all.

file:

drweb_6.0.2.sfs (85M)

=====

Detailed:

1. Removed all virus databases to decrease file size. It will download about 200 Mb right after activation.

2. /root/Startup script adds drweb user and group

3. Daemon: /etc/init.d/drweb-configd status | start | stop

4. system settings are locked because of root/PAM problems. They work in other distributions where you are not root.

5. It supports many locales

6. Original installer is here --> https://download.drweb.com/linux/?lng=en

check it out!
