Subject description: anybody compiled this driver?

At http://sourceforge.net/projects/ibdriver is a GPL driver for the iBurst wireless Internet modems. both PCMCIA and USB. It works fine on an Ubuntu machine (see below). Has anybody compiled a driver for this device for Puppy Linux and made it available?

Alternatively what's the easiest way to get a kernel build environment for Puppy Linux? I've built this driver for Ubuntu and I'm familiar with kernel compilation. If I build the driver would somebody be willing to package it and add it to the Puppy repository, wherever that is?
