Hi, orrin.

Ah, that's an easy one. Go into your ROX /root window, and click on the 'eye' icon on the 'menu-bar' at the top.

This will show all the 'hidden' files/folders. which are prefaced by a "." Look for ~/.cache, click on it, and inside you'll find a folder for 'google-chrome', plus another for 'slimjet'. These mostly contain your default profile.....and that's about it, usually.

Hope that helps.

When a website caches images an other data... where is that stored?
I do not see it in the ~/.cache directory.

I do not see it in the ~/.cache directory.

I have
Code:
~> ls -la ~/.cache/iron/Default/
total 0
drwx------ 6 root root    80 Mar 11 08:01 .
drwx------ 6 root root    80 Mar 11 14:53 ..
drwx------ 4 root root 18880 Mar 11 16:24 Cache
drwx------ 4 root root   240 Mar 11 16:23 Media Cache

Iron browser is kind-of similar to Chrome.
I had just done the 'clear browsing data'; but before that, it was 23MB; some svg files,. but mostly files I don't recognize.
Such as
Code:
ls -l ~/.cache/iron/Default/Cache/
total 1340
-rw------- 1 root root    695 Mar 11 16:26 0188f7e45593a7f5_0
-rw------- 1 root root  12156 Mar 11 16:25 02434c4e38109f8f_0
-rw------- 1 root root    682 Mar 11 16:26 02c25aacb8af19ae_0
-rw------- 1 root root   4644 Mar 11 16:28 3a9b9be755a8364d_0

Orrin's right. They're in cogs.... encrypted folders? My Iron files are in the Spot directory but I'm probably an exception there...

Yep, slavvo's right. In earlier versions, this all used to be easily viewable.....but a few releases back, they started encrypting it all, so it's only accessible by the browser itself now... Rolling Eyes
