What Puppy are you using... theres usually "PupX" in the Menu that will configure this. Thanx bushbuck, I was a bit late in correcting.

Do you mean the screen blanking?

To turn that off, go to Menu -> Desktop
-> pupX set Properties of X
, click on the "Screen Saver" tab, and un-select the checkbox for "Enable Screen Saver".

These are the instructions for Tahr Puppy 6.0.3, and the details may vary a bit in other versions.

Subject description: screen blanking

using editor go to /etc/rx.d/ and open rc.local.

add two lines to the end

echo xset s off
echo xset -dpms

on reboot screensaver confirmed off
also screen no longer went black after 30 minutes

however note that dpms switch will not work on all monitors. worked on one monitor but
not the other.
