Hi all,
Excuse me for asking this in a linux forum. But i didn't find any better place to ask this. I am a hobby programmar and I am using Windows 8 32 bit. And i know vb.net and FreeBasic and AutoIt. I want to learn a cross platform language. I like the syntax and features of Genie. But i don't know where to start. Is there any single exe package which contain Genie IDE, Compiler and Genie documentation ? Or do i need to download these 3 items separately ? Thanks in advance.
How to use Genie in Windows ?
Welcome Mate.
As it looks pretty straightforward to me, you should probably just go for it.

The genie programming language is really just an abstraction layer over C that looks python-like. I'd recommend just learning C or python.
RE: geany IDE in windows
I use geany from http://portableapps.com/apps on the same usb stick as puppy.
