Looking for some oldies!
Looking for some oldies!
Hi, folks!
Does anyone have working links for some old Puplets or isos themselves:
- BuddaPup (215, 217, etc.)
- Dingoplus
???
No one good link through all the googable web. Many other old diamonds can be found here or there but these have almost dissolved...
Thanks in advance!

get theze oldies remasterized,
what would be fine, is to get theze oldies remasterized, like black and white movies are colorized.
Some of them contain a creative Know how,
If At Slacko's workshops you are missing ideas, marry old know-how with your new kernels and firmware. Not a bad idea, is it ?

How many computers will be saved from trash ?
oldies born in 2007 sure will fit to your old laptop bought in 2004 with Windows XP, better than 250MB ISO compiled in 2015 in 64 bits.

Hi all
Would be great to see these old puppies updated and remastered
But for old and new hardware !
You know ! Maybe like kernel choice at boot etc. So they can be enjoyed by a broader
range of hardware ! Not just older hardware !
Back in the day of puppy 2 had it right ! A puppy that gets fully into ram etc !
I have said it somewhere here before ! "Much can be learned from these older puppies !"

Kernel lookout's.
When I will be add information that's some Kernels can be haves a difference:
i386 = 1991 (as Frist version of Kernel) - 2012 {Linux 3.8}|URL: http://phoronix.com/vr.php?view=MTI0OTg
PAE = 1999 (Linux 2.3.23)
x64 = 2001 (Linux 2.4)
Now a best for Selective on a 2016 for me' it's:
x64 {DDR4} = FatDog64 [Pros: Aesthetic use for Newest GPU's]/Xenial64/Slacko64 [Cons: Someones doesn't detect at .sfs on to Startup]
PAE {DDR3} = Trusty Tahr Lite [Of My build - Pros: Selective firmware only,More modern Firmwares for AMD Radeon]/Trusty Tahr Stock (but for more support I will be prefer at My build because that's will be have more support anyway')
i386 {SDR/DDR(2)} = Early puppies or Puppy Precise 5.7.1 - no way with a Trusty Tahr anyway'
When I will be show how are be last from a Kernel sides':
Buisness CD:
2.4.31(?): Damn Small Linux (50MB)
Mini CD:
Any of Puppy linux who are be place to a max. ~210MB
Example:
3.2: Puppy Precise (~190MB)
3.14: Puppy Trusty (205MB)
CD:
[That's begined from 210MB at Compact only,when are be ended maybe of a ~2019 anyway.]

Molinux 2.0 was created by students in a spanish
Molinux 2.0 was created by students in a spanish university, based on puppy Linux 4.2.0.
It's quite easy to transfer these old puppies to a newer Puppy Linux (Slacko or Precise,tahrpup)
My Molinux is based on Précise Puppy 5.7.1
A being Molinux, B being Precise;
All common applications : choose Precise version
Applications Only Molinux Transfered to Precise.
You need only to merge and choose (newer)
Molinux, born 2010, here University students had their own forum, de habla iberica
"Molinux Zero 2.0 está basada en Bobby 1.0 que a su vez está basada en Puppy Linux 4.20" "
