Palemoon-26.4.0 is out. I hope it will not soon updated. I have crafted palemoon-26.4.0-p4-glibc219tweak.pet which is intended only for puppy4 and wary: do not install in more recent puppies where the official tar.bz2 release works fine. Enjoy.

This one has not a profile in it.

I just tested Palemoon 27 Beta. It finally seems to be maturing with some significant improvements; especially with embedded videos. Much more functional than even 26.5.

Hi Pelo:

It didn't make a desktop entry for me. I suppose I could put one in. The Beta version does not use the installer and cannot be updated with it. Still, worth a look while waiting for the final.

Above is a link to Palemoon 27 Beta. Important: This is only a Beta version and it will not work with the Palemoon Installer / Updater. Works with Xerus64 and RUXerus64 and will probably work with other 64bit Puppies. It puts a desktop icon in the lower left corner of your screen, so if you already have an icon there you may want to move it.

Also, it's a Beta and not a final so there's sure to be some flaws, though I haven't really seen any. Much nicer than 26.5 in my opinion.

SHA256: e6fd7e62fa400b46daa4161bcf46e7398a905069972fb5121eacffe4d47f15fa

PS: When you first click on the desktop icon, just choose to make it your default. It will not change your system default. It will just stop that annoying question the next time you click the desktop icon.

OH, and the top right has customized searches. This one includes the Puppy Search Plug-In which was done really nicely. I'm sorry, someone on this board created but I forgot who. Still, a very nice addition!!!

Palemoon-27.0.0 is released.

I've uploaded an sfs of palemoon-27.0.0 to SourceForge

however on my desktop running kernel 4.8.10 with Xorg-1.19.0 it completely trashes my nvidia / nouveau display - i.e. screen goes black and says no signal!!

with Xorg-1.18.4 it seems OK....

palemoon-27.0.0-p4-glibc219tweak.pet:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9iMb4UZBeFkSzUyMENlQ09zc3M/view?usp=sharing

It continues to work in puppy 4.31. Glib-2.22.2-p4 from puppy4 rep is required for flashplayer 24 beta. The above package can work in other puppies with glibc<2.15 in order to use the new flashplayer 24 beta Npapi.
Enable the default english language pack before using with an existing profile: some adds-on can not work with the new release and the new languages packs are not ready.

Labbe5 posted about an important security issue about Mozilla that also affects Pale Moon
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=109057&sid=42774698568e0e90f4b502c4315553c0

As a result of that vulnerability, Pale Moon was upgraded today to version 27.02

That is misinformation you have there. Pale Moon is/was not affected by this vulnerability. Source: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13984&sid=531a090e4bab21edb922a0ff640bd89b

I have posted about this in the Tahr64 Thread

Does this occur in other pups?
