oki 3320 label printing

Hi. I am using tahr-6.0.5_PAE on a desktop machine. I have connected an oki 3320 printer via usb and set off on an entertaining journey of wonder and common sense. At first printing a test page was a mission but all I needed to do was change the printer control setting to epson fx. So now it prints fine but my next issue is printing correctly on 75mm(w) x 35mm(h) labels. I have created a template in glabels and set media settings in cups to custom 75mm x 35mm. When I try to print multiple labels two or three labels are skipped. I have set page length to 3" on printer. Not sure what else to do other than google or ask on a forum at this point.
