I had a little time and I made a version of slacko LegOPen

English edition but not in Firefox.
JWM window manager PDE program expanded Buntoo, XP. OSX interface.
therefore, they are not included in the usual JWM adjustment programs.
SFS-tray (SFS Quick Launch tray)
Kernel interchangeable.
It can be used with Google Chrome, Chronium, Opera 31 Web browser

I would hold off making this until Slacko 6.1.0.1 is final release.
This is still in testing and bug fixing.
The final version will probably be Slacko 6.2.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:

hungarians are in full Puppy production ! downloading unicorNOpen version from your repository, franz.
I'am running several puppies from your european country.
My boss offered me Windows 98 to make waste recycled in later years 1998 2005 with a specific application developped for the matter. GDAMpro.
Developer was living in his house. 6000 euros was the annual price to pay for using his application

PAE or Not PAE

I don't see any interest in PAE for Puppy usage, because rarely we need more than 4GB Ram, I don't know an application needing so much memory.
However i am surprised that my Legopen PAE runs on an old laptop born in 2004 ( no Pae at all).
Nice because i can use a brand new Puppy with it...

Vivid 6.5 abandoned, i will load hungarian version and find some help from Budapest in Facebook.

OK!
I have to reconfigure the mysql and apache server completely and now it is running but i am afraid of heavy amount of visitors...

Reducing the load on a small VPS provided by a sponsor.


I hope this config will be good now.

We are getting larger, need more and more ram and space.
Maybe once a time we need to buy a server in the future...

i can taste 2PDE desktop married with tahrpup hu. I try to download it now.
In fact people cannot download from dropbox unless suscribing.
2PDE versions in archives.org.. looking forward.

Slegopen launched to-night, turns on only one processor !
Slegopen based on Slacko 5.7 kernel 3.4.81 no driver compiled for Realtel 8192cu so
kernel changed to 4.2.5 Slegopen. I am an idiot, no driver complié pour lui (the same, no driver for antenna)

I have not tested. I use classic tahr puppy official.
Nothing special.

Slegopen and legoped discontinued by Pfranz.

I know nothing else... sorry...

I am currently care about save, upload, backup packages from and old server crashed 3 years before.
Games, puplets, utils...

Gramps starts fast with SLegopen

Users have their hoobies. They will choose the Puppy Linux which fits their needs.
playing music from CDs, movies from DVDs, and.. some genealogy, or cross words.
Slegopen makes Gramps move, Slacko 5.7 does not, slacko eepc does. Why ? we don't know :D
Like an impression that the older the Puppy is, the better the Puppy is. Like French wines !
