hi Lassar,

there are a few versions scattered around the forum for different puppies.

in tahrpup and tahrpup64 you can find it quickpet (this is preinstalled)
in precise you can get quickpet here http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=83642 and install xbmc from there
for slacko see the first post on this thread
Bionicpup64 built with bionic beaver packages http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=114311
Xenialpup64, built with xenial xerus packages http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=107331

I tried that slacko one in X-slacko, it needs the lib6+libstdc6-4.9.2.pet installed to run, but I wouldn't do that again as it wrecks everything, the fonts are missing in Kodi as well as in other applications.

Wouldn't work in tahrpup

I tried it in tahrpup using quickpet.

I get flashing at the bottom quarter of the screen. And no keys responding.

I get the exactly the same thing with a GeeXbox CD.

Could it be, that I need a different graphics driver?

Hmmm, the video add-on 'twitch' is offering an update. But I've NOT updated yet - twitch is still working fine without it update ATM.

So, I've created a new save file, installed kodi, guess what - no 'twitch' add-on ? Its now missing from the 'first startup' - kodi repository.

Any workaround for fresh puppy installs ?

a manuual install of the twitch.zip file from github - or look in your old save folder '/root/.kodi/addons/packages' for a prviously installed add-on/s to install to new kodi's

FYI - cleaning up kodi '/root/.kodi/addons/packages' folder to keep save folder small.

cleaned out about 500MB of unuzed .zip files from old skins i've tried out - uninstalling skins/add-ons, does not remove these in the process.

Hmm, FYI

I updated to 17.3 to get the twitch addon to work, it worked.
then found the tvheadend PVR was not available, phooey.

uninstalled kodi 17.3 and left my 'root kodi folder' as is - and installed 14.0.

latest twitch addon is now working - nice...
