Mkwallpaper-gui 2.3
- Add support for mkwallpaper-0.8 which includes the option to embed a png or svg graphic logo at position x y (see below).
- Add support for wallpaper creation and management in the LXDE and Xfce desktop environments
- Note: Mkwallpaper will embed a graphic logo in the png format. However, you can select a graphic in the svg format and the image is auto-converted to the png format prior to insertion.

Mkwallpaper-gui-2.2
- Bugfix: The gradient-offset spinbutton (floating-point numbers) failed in locales that use a comma as the decimal point delimiter
- Auto-adjust width of the user interface to accommodate long text strings of non-English locales

Mkwallpaper-gui-2.1
- Add option to set the wallpaper destination directory (thanks smokey01)
- Add option to preview the new wallpaper image before saving to the destination directory (thanks smokey01)
- If Nathan's Wallpaper Setter is used, assure the set_bg utility is available in the executable PATH (thanks smokey01)

Mkwallpaper-gui-2.0
- New user interface
- Add color selector button for unlimited background colors
- Support 01micko's command-line mkwallpaper utility >=0.7

nilsonmorales,

Thanks for the Spanish locales. Your input is very much appreciated.

BTW, your dark GTK theme looks great! :)

radky, you were quick to take advantage of mkwallpaper-0.7 changes/improvements?
Some mods are required for Fatdog64 as setting the wallpaper breaks the drive icons.

Hi smokey01,

Mkwallpaper-gui is coded for conventional Pups.

If you think this utility could be of value to users of Fatdog64, I would be happy to adjust the code accordingly.

Your recommendations are welcome.

radky I had a bit of a play, very nice. I've actually been working on a YAD version to sharpen up my YAD skills, slow going. I'm also writing a YAD tutorial in Notecase.

I'm not keen on making a wallpaper and installing it without viewing it first. I prefer to make a wallpaper then display it in the defaultimageviewer. If I like it then I install it.

Also Mick has added the -d option for destination directory. I see you have it in your script '$DESTDIR' but I couldn't find a button to set it.

Cheers

Thanks Smokey01,

It seems 01micko added a nice option to embed png images.

I'll update the GUI to support mkwallpaper-0.8. :)
