#1 Post by AdrianH »

Duh extremely dim, but how do I get it back, I clicked on remove item without thinking thought I was emptying contents.

Cheers

Go to /usr/local/apps and move "Trash" onto the desktop.

You can lock any desktop icon by right-click option!

Hello, AdrianH

What R-S-H actually means is:
* right-click on the icon
* a little menu appears
* in that menu,
__click on "edit item"
* a little panel shows up
* in this panel, tick the "locked" box
__just above the "Cancel" button at the bottom.
* click "ok".

Now your icon is locked.

Forgive my impertinence, R-S-H. :cry: :wink:

Forgive my impertinence, R-S-H.
Never mind! :lol:

Good Job, really.

Such detailed information I can not give in EN because of my DE interface used and not always reminding the names given to a menu entry in EN.

If you'll find any of my post sort like this, please, do it again!

Thanks.

Hello, R-S-H.

Glad you were not offended!
Watch it, with such permission!

Empty the trash : i fail to delete items... ????

Each trashed item is stored in a roxapp inside /$HOME/.Trash, which also contains information about the item such as the deletion date and the original path, and has a unique suffix so you can delete multiple items with the same name.
