re: repost of some small, simple games

#1 Post by muggins »

VariEze asked for some small, simple games, so i thought i'd re-upload these small games.

games1.zip has collapse, gsoko, headache, Tkoverload & another solitaire version.

games2.zip has gtkboard, once-in-lifetime solitaire, shanghai, sol, spider & xmahjongg

games3.zip has tkspider, tktris, tripeaks & xfreecell.

tetri.zip has various tetri clones including gtktetcolor, gtktetris, xtris, tetris.tcl, tktris.tcl, xemeraldia, xitetris, the bash cli bastet & nct, & the 3D xwelltris.

Hi,

I use this thread again, is there a jewels like game somewhere ?
a nice looking one like bejeweled from popcap ?

i have never seen one on linux, if this does not exist it would be a cool idea for all of our great graphists here

Also, a few game reposted here would need a little relooking and would easyly match criteria for nowadays games, as we have much improved look and feel and everyone can see it inside the new puppy v2.15 VIZ :!: :D

Best regards,
Laurent.

lvds,

i'm not sure of this jewels game that you mention...puppy comes with gemgame under Start->Games ...do any of our french speaking pups
have any idea what the game, link below, is about?

http://wfr.tcl.tk/CrystalsBattle

i also added another small solitaire version to games1.zip above.

Hi Muggins,

Bejeweled exist also on web-mode you can play it for free here
http://www.popcap.com/launchpage.php?th ... iamondmine

About your question, it comes from an old game edited by Infograme named "the game of the 7 colors" ; i don't know exactly how to play it. This game was very popular a few years ago, a good one it seems.

Best regards,
Laurent

lvds,

bejeweled looks similar to the gemgame that somes with puppy...isn't it in your pupversion? if not, then it's available here:

http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/di ... e-2003.pet

or as .tar.gz here:

http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/di ... 003.tar.gz

Thanks Muggins,

it is exactly this game yes ; it is a very good one. I hope one day a good graphist can design better looking gems sprites for it :)

Best regards,
Laurent.

i've added a file tetri.zip, with a bunch of different tetri clones, above. no exhaustive QA has been done on any of these, but they all seem to work wherever they're extracted to. (N.B. 2 of them are commandline only, bastet & nct, to play tetris in a bash shell).
