devilspie 0.19 - set size of rxvt windows when they open Sub_title: Tested in IceWM, not JWM |
|
With devilspie you can force a program to run fullscreen, maximized, stick on different workspaces andd so on.
I only tested it with Icewm, not with JWM.
Install this dotpup:
http://dotpups.de/dotpups/Desktop-Tools/Devilspie.pup (94 kb)
Now type in a consolewindow:
devilspie
Now your consolewindow (rxvt) should be resized.
All new rxvt-windows you open will have the same (small) size and position.
You can add own configurationfiles in
/root/.devilspie
Modify test.ds to try things.
If it works, add such a line to /etc/rc.d/rc.local to run it when Puppy boots:
devilspie &
(Maybe you must add it to /root/.xinitrc instead, did not try yet).
