Havin some trouble with MUT not showing Cdrom

Using Puppy 2.13 on type 2 hard disk install on
celeron 600 laptop, 64Mb Ram, 128 swapfile

From livecd it worked okay but now that i have installed it to hard disk
no matter what i try i cant get MUT to show the cdrom so that i can mount it.
I have tried putting an entry in /etc/fstab
I have checked that all links where correct
Have run Cd wizard which correctly identifies the Cdrom

Strangely Pmount works correctly to mount and unmount
I would prefer to use MUT, so what am i doing wrong or is there a problem?

I've noticed this on some machines, too. It has something to do with Pmount being regularly updated but MUT previously falling behind in development. Don't know what happened to Jesse - maybe lost interest in it or something. It happened in 2.12 with some configurations too.

To get the functionality of MUT in Pmount, I prevailed on the one of our gurus to add a Rox button and drive space reading to Pmount, so you could access the drive contents without unmounting and remounting and see the free space of mounted drives. That works fine and should be available to you in 2.13.

BarryK is updating MUT for 2.14, I believe. I'm sure MUT will be a new dog by then! Smile

Hope that helps
