Einer muss es ja einmal probieren.
Erster Eindruck,
sehr umfangreich, sehr viele Einstellungen, sehr viel Einarbeitung erforderlich.
Trotzdem lohnt es, sich ein paar Stunden damit zu befassen, um dann zu sehen, ob man tooppy als Standardpuppy einsetzen will.
Übrigens ist gtk-3 bereits vorhanden. Firefox läuft also ohne Probleme.
Verbesserungsvorschlag: Einen Button auf den Desktop legen, mit dem man - mindestens am Anfang- das vertraute Puppy Desktop Layout erzeugen kann.
Alles in allem...gute Arbeit.

It is possible to get the standard "all in one" (2Psa/MENU) Puppy MENU but not the desktop layout (other puppies do it well!
). I wanted to offer another way to execute default applications than the icons on the desktop, especially for users which has no hard Puppist habits yet. I hope the application launch tray does it well. 2Pc lets user easily reach drives/devices as well...
These are choices (I personally like bare desktops), just different but therefore not obviously better!

Erste Erfahrungen mit ToOpPy

zunächst vielen Dank für deine Antwort. Ich gebe dir gern meinen Eindruck, erst in deutsch, weil wir ja im deutschen Forum sind, dann in English vielleicht für dein besseres Verständnis und schließlich in französisch, soweit ich das überhaupt kann. Es ist aber eine gute Übung für mich.
Also, fangen wir damit an, daß ich zwar seit Jahren mit Puppy "spiele", es aber nie wirklich beherrscht habe. Trotzdem probiere ich gern mal eine neue Variante aus.
In ToOpPy ist nun alles anders, als in den meisten Puppies. Die Optik ist sehr schön, und du hast sehr viele eigene und gute Ideen eingebracht. Damit kann man auf Dauer sicher gut arbeiten.
Mein Problem ist einfach die Eingewöhnung. Es ist so vieles anders, dass man das unmöglich in einer Sitzung oder auch in ein paar Stunden herausfinden kann.Ich habe also für alles sehr viel Zeit gebraucht, um die Programme und Funktionen zu finden, und tue das immer noch nach vielleicht 3 Stunden des Eingewöhnens.
Das ist kein Nachteil und schon gar keine Kritik, sondern ein ganz natürlicher Vorgang bei der Konfrontation mit etwas Neuem.
Was ich geändert habe und ändern mußte, sind nur optische Dinge. Mir gefallen eben andere Farben, Fenster und Schaltknöpfe. Aber auch das sind rein persönliche Preferenzen. Dafür ging viel Zeit drauf, aber letztlich ist alles vorhanden, man muß es nur finden.

Qu'est-ce que je devais changer étaient les couleurs, les thèmes et les boutons. Je préfère tout simplement différemment, mais qui est juste préférence personnelle.
