Have been using this a bit... I have some recollection of having to rename folders to get the themes found... *shrug* Doesn't matter.

One thing I wanted to know... I've put an entry into .xinitrc like 'rox /root/my-roxapps/GKrellM' to start the application when X starts.

As it stands, it always appears in the top left of the main window. I couldn't find anything in the config. files, etc but is there a way to force it to, say, the bottom right of the main window? Although I can get it to stick across all the desktops (under JWM), it doesn't seem to want to start at the location I want it to.

i think i symlinked /root/.gkrellm to a folder in the roxapp, so the themes should be in the roxapp ... i may have put an Edit Config Files item in the context menu of the roxapp, i don't really remember, it was a while since i made the package

i guess a newer version of gkrellm would work in Puppy 1.0.5 ... i think Puppy had gtk-2.0 when i made the package (i think that roxapp package was made by someone else anyway, and i just modified it slightly for Puppy)

i think you can setup where Icewm puts it on the screen ... in fact, i think it's already in the default winoptions config file that comes with Icewm ... i don't know about JWM, it may be configurable in .jwmrc

you can set up where many programs appear using X's -geometry option ... something like -geometry AxB+C+D, where AxB is the size of the window and +C+D is the position of the window on the screen ... you would have to edit AppRun in the roxapp to use the -geometry option ... i don't know if it works with gkrellm

Guestoo

I need help.

I installed gkrellm using the below binary package.

http://www.cs.sunyit.edu/~geerp/rox/bin ... lM.tar.bz2

after untar, I copy the GKrellM directory to my-roxapps directory.

Now, I want to install gkrelltop plugin. I downloaded the tarball from

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gkrell ... g_mirror=0

I untared it and installed it. but when I open plugin tab in gkrellm configuration, I didn't see gkrelltop.

Could you please help me to add plugins in gkrellm?

I have gkrelltop.so file from gkrelltop package. where I need to put?
