Which tahrpup .iso file should I download? (Solved)

#1 Post by number77 »

Hello
In the past I have always downloaded puppy from distro.ibiblio.org but I began to wonder if this was the best place and also I have never been sure which file to go for.
I am wanting to try a new puppy, my existing one is slacko 5.5 to I decided to try tahrpup but could do with recommendations, 6.0, 5.8.3,5.8.3.rcl or 5.8.4 and a pae or non pae iso.
The laptop is a dell vostro 2ghz dual core and 2gb memory.
Thanks

hi number77

tahrpup 6.0.2 is the latest .... and i would go with noPAE seeing as you have under 4gb of ramhttp://ftp.nluug.nl/ibiblio/distributio ... 20-6.0-CE/

the nluug mirror is usually quicker than ibiblio
