How to install Huon Tablet drivers in Puppy?

What works, and doesn't, for you. Be specific, and please include Puppy version.

How to install Huon Tablet drivers in Puppy?

#1 Post by Deacon »

I know this may be something ridiculously easy but... I'm at a loss.

We just saved an old Lenovo computer with Precise 5.7.1. Apparently Huion Tablets released drivers that could work if you compile them in Ubuntu.

The instructions are here. http://huiontablet.tumblr.com/post/7944 ... 0-on-linux

Now I know there's no sudo on Puppy, but "make install" doesn't seem to work when we go to the folder.

So how do I install it? (I fear this will be something simple I don't know how to do.....)

Precise 5.7.1 kernel is too old as it uses 3.9.11 and according to your link it needs 3.12.2 and above.

Also you will need to have the devx loaded and possibly kernel sources as well to compile and install the driver.

Maybe you could consider tahrpup.
