I think you did an unnecessary job, in the peazip site there is a portable binary version just ready to run on lupu without install.

Hi alfisti

i don't think you did an unnecessary job. i've tried lots of peazip pets, peazip.sfs's ,peazip portable and peazip from the peazip site. and none of them have worked on my puppy. However i downloaded your peazip expecting the same disappointment and to my pleasant surprise, it worked!!

This now means the i don't have to boot into an xp VM to unzip stuff that puppy doesn't like.

Thankyou!

Hi, rapidshare says their "services have closed"
EDIT: also the "googlecode" link says "forbidden:"
- does anyone have a copy of this pet please?

cheers!

Greengeek - did you try the portable version from Sourceforge?

Here - http://peazip.sourceforge.net/peazip-linux.html

I just gave it a shot on Precise 5.7.1, and seems to work fine. Big package, though (~28 mb un-compressed!).

Hi moat - yes I have recently tried the portable version - but what attracted me to this one was phils comment that the pet above worked without problems on his puppies so i thought it might be a version that was worth archiving. Also the small size compared to recent versions, and I'm always looking for versions of software that have been aleady proven to work with puppy...
cheers!
