Hi is price NOP (No Office Pup) an officially supported version or a fork, and is it the latest version of Precise. and is the LibreOffice.sfs current and up to date.
I will test this puppy version soon.
Is google chrome browser available to install. I believe that it is a better choice to use as default browser myself. although opera is still a great browser.
Note: I have noticed slowly since puppy 431 and after lupu there is a move away from .sfs apps allot more than before. maybe this is just me though. I feel that sfs files are a most excellent way to have a minimal install and keep the save file small and running at its best.
Hefre is my thread about xfce and puppy. click here to follow
Precise NOP 5.4.3
Icons disappear
For some strange reason all the desktop icon disappear along with the right click menu. Has happened three times with a frugal install. Top and bottom panel still there and functioning along with menu in bottom left panel. Suggestions?
Everything else seems to be working fine.

Added Xine for Amarok
Deceived by Puppies new generation (FFmpeg and Mplayer not as default ) i come back to Precise which was providing its passengers all entertainment from its PPM.
I never tried Precise XFCE > Go !
Amarok needs Xine for playing MP3 added from ppm (12MB). Amarok works as it should work.
Seamonkey and Audacity added version Don570 voir page 4
