EZNET crashes when I hit DOWN button

#1 Post by Mechsus »

I have experienced this problem on two separate computers:

Sometimes, when I want to disconnect my dial-up, I hit the DOWN button and EZNET crashes to a black text screen. xwin gets me back.

Also, after my modem hangs, (i.e. when I press UP nothing happens for a minute or two) when I press DOWN, I get the crash again.

Yeah, this is reported on another thread.

A tcl/tk programming guru is required to fix it!

Mechsus,
My experience. Eznet hangs if I put anything in a field other than the first four. When the second case happens I run the modem wizard and click the button where my modem is connected (as if I was installing it). The 'modem in use' icon remains in the bottom right of the screen and the TR (terminal ready) light stays lit on the modem but ezenet has a change of mind and says PPP failed. Ready for another try.
