hehehe, well it might work for some.
I'm skeptical, but downloaded and tried it anyways...
now my computer can sound like a spaceship from startrek, the ship with that strange kind of background hum of hidden machinery Smile or perhaps the sound of a sonic screwdriver in your ear Smile
I'm not sure about altered state of consciousness, but my senses (ears) were definately affected, sort of like the tingling you get in your feet after skating on the road, sensitive to vibrations I guess you might say...
Don't turn the volume up too loud, it can sometimes generate glitches in the sound if you move your mouse around.

There is a power converter thingee down the road a few blocks, it has a really nice 50Hz vibration to it... hehe Smile

With ref to Barrys request here

and MU's excellent advise, have changed the autozen program to install in usr/local/autozen

PS.
Dogen Zen Master when asked if a puppy had "Zen Buddha Nature" or enlightened mind replied "Mu" Shocked

Which means "No" but in the sense of meaning yes . . . confused . . . try autozen . . . soon your mind will no longer exist
. . . hey it happened to me

You are right to be sceptical
Music does change mood
and repetition induces compliance
It is the basis of ecstatogenic induction
clap hands here comes [insert saviour of choice]

Recently the Dalek Lemon, or Dalai Lama as he is known to the faithful, gave a talk to neuro-researchers on the benefits of meditation (this I can vouch for) Meditation of course is too hard for most people weaned on an inability to train their mind.
- I am still trying . . . however I am still not convinced I have a mind . . .

Anyway I have updated the program (seemed to be missing the sequences - opened by clicking on the green button) See first posting for details and download

PS. No Lemons were disrespected in producing this thread

Thanks for the update. Now you need to dotpup a flashing light program to go with it. Where did I hide my f'in' water tank...
