I'm using mtPaint 3.44.13 , and I'm trying to cut or crop one part of the image , but I'cant find out how to do this with circle or elipse format .
I can do cut or crop on Square format normally ( i guess it's default ) .
Mtpaint how to crop image on circle or elipse format ?
You'd fare better with a Gimp.sfs.

The straight forward method is to define a selection
Channels > Edit Selection
However the best method I have found is to edit the alpha values of the
layer you are working on. --> Bluish tint means alpha = 0 so it won't be seen in final image.
Channels > Edit Alpha
Channels > View Alpha as an overlay
Define the alpha values and then do a Gausian blur (=2)
Channels > Edit Image ---> now you can copy to clipboard
I explain with an example ....

Also you should read the section in the mtpaint manual on channels
http://mtpaint.sourceforge.net/handbook ... ap_07.html
You can download the mtpaint manual pet and easily install it
(but don't have mtpaint running at the time of installing the manual.)
