When creating a new file, you can adjust parameters such as number of rows and colums.
Can we insert image below ?

Hi. pelo.
I believe it is possible to adjust the parameters, but like in OpenOffice, only when you
print or view your spreadsheet. You highlight what you want printed before you click
"print".
As to pictures, it's definitely not a problem to insert them in gnumeric, there is a
sub-menu item for that. (See pic. below.)

insert background image (EXCEL does it)

#5 Post by Pelo »

I was meaning background image. I did not succeed. It's not a real problem. But the result in EXCEL is quite impressive (impressionant).
Your new CSVpad is nice, dear Musher0.
PS / Abiword does it.

Hi pelo.

I searched the gnumeric docs for "backgrounds",
(https://help.gnome.org/users/gnumeric/s ... umeric.html)
and the maximum you can have as background is a color or a pattern,
per cell or per group of cells. (See attached.)

Gnumeric in Slegopen !

#8 Post by Pelo »

Replace comma by point (all cells) shuts down Gnumeric in Slegopen !
People really working with Puppy Linux , use old but secured version !

Insert an image as background lets you write above the image..
Musher0, thanks for your information, but it's not the answer :!:
