Neyh. It needs the the patched glib
I was wondering if it could be compiled statically and be a reasonable size.

Very nice work Phil !
My Config: Boot from live CD, savefile on HDD
Did an upgrade to Tahr-5.8.4_noPAE using the option available on boot from Tahr-6.0-CE_noPAE
Upgrade went well with no known issues and all previous installed programs work as they should.

savefolder using symbolic links |
|
Hi gyro, or anyone else:
Huh?
Was this discussed in a previous thread?
If not, could you provide some details? How does it differ from an "ordinary" savefolder? How do you set up the symbolic links? To what? What are its potential advantages? That kind of stuff.

I've compiled xfce and have it running of a fashion, still needs work to get everything working, recompiled glib with the patch that's mentioned,
then compiled the pup-volume-monitor, it threw a few warnings in the compile but it's now working,
no segment faults, thunar filemanager shows drives and desktop also shows them.
