Uninstall Gimp

#1 Post by David Andrew »

I'm trying to uninstall Gimp 2.8.4 on Puppy Lighthouse in order to replace it with a newer .tzx version (2.10). How do I remove the default one, which came preinstalled on the ISO?

I believe if you just delete the gimp file in
/usr/share/applications that will suffice.

When I make a mtpaint pet package I simply overwrite Barry's built-in
package and it works fine.

It needs to be a full uninstall, I think.

.ORA files aren't working despite the fact that I've got python installed. I've read elsewhere on here that fully removing Gimp and reinstalling from scratch may be necessary.
