qemu-0.91-launchscript-SDL-1.29.pet

#1 Post by linuxnovo »

It seems that qemu-0.91-launchscript-SDL-1.29.pet has disappeared from the net! A very useful vm program. All references are to go-nuts site and this has disappeared also a great loss. Could anyone supply this pet? or location where it can be downloaded?

I have uploaded a copy here: http://puppylinuxstuff.meownplanet.net/catdude/qemu/
it has the same md5sum as the one posted in this thread.
There is also a copy of the 'Qemu command line help' text file.

Hope this helps

QEMU Launcher (Puppy version) is available

#3 Post by gcmartin »

A Puppyite, @MikeB, has proactively taken a step to provide Puppy users an easy means of using QEMU to launch VM guest machines to boot Puppy distros and ISOs.

The PUPPY version is here.

And a step-by-step Setup exist for any user who would like to run other PUP distros side-by-side while their main distro continue to operate, here.

Hope this helps

Hi... if you happen to use the 0.91 version and want the kqemu module let me know... I have it built for various older pups and have the sources though not sure on the status of 3 kernels and building it. The gui i made should work for kqemu or the newer kvm.
