However I think the answer is fatdog's intel version should run because
they (Acer and HP) both use intel chips. Samsung uses ARM chip.

Yes and no.Fatdog ARM was prepared to run on Melee (an arm server) which uses
Allwinner A10 chip. It would take a lot of work by an expert to upgrade
it so that it would run on the Samsung Chromebook.
Yes because kernel and bootloader would need to be built and configured = a lot of work.
No because Odroid (I have one) runs Exynos processor so the packages will work just fine.
