fatdogarm on HP Chromebook 11

What works, and doesn't, for you. Be specific, and please include Puppy version.

You should post your question on Kirk's page.

However I think the answer is fatdog's intel version should run because
they (Acer and HP) both use intel chips. Samsung uses ARM chip.

Intel makes ARM chips, too...

ARM != x86.

ARM CPUs cannot run x86 OS's outside of a virtual machine on an ARM-compatible OS. QEMU is an example.

Check what kind of CPU you have, first. If you need an ARM version of Puppy, then FatDogARM is indeed likely to be your best bet.

Good luck.

Fatdog ARM was prepared to run on Melee (an arm server) which uses
Allwinner A10 chip. It would take a lot of work by an expert to upgrade
it so that it would run on the Samsung Chromebook.

Yes and no.

Yes because kernel and bootloader would need to be built and configured = a lot of work.

No because Odroid (I have one) runs Exynos processor so the packages will work just fine.

The Cubieboard team will be announcing in a few days a board using
Allwinner's latest A80 processor chip. Allwinner engineers are helping them.
This is very exciting because Allwinner is the world's low-cost supplier
of processor chips. A10 was only $10 US
