Nooby's sister will make a post to test if it all works out

#1 Post by nooby »

Nobby's Sister instructed how to send a "Thanks to all of you guys
when I am truly dead. Some would find such an act maybe morbid.

I should explain that by "Guys" I refer to both male and female humans

Nooby speaking from other side of Internet. :) But I want to send thanks
to all of you so to me it is a friendly gesture of thankfulness.

So the following is the test message. She will log in using my username
hope that Flash and John has nothing against this one time post we have to test to see if it works out like we expect.

Basically the text message just say

I am sister of Nooby and he asked me a last wish to send you all
a Heart felt thanks you. She try to find her own words for this
so it will not be an exact copy unless it feel okay for her to just copy and past my suggested text.

So expect this to happen in near future and that the real text
when I am dead will be more than one year from now but one
never know it can go down for me sooner than what I want.

Anyway I keep one space for a post open for her to edit or
she start a new post here. I prefer she write in the empty space
the post just below this one.

Just click on edit that should work. Test it at least. :)
Or if it fail then click on post reply. That should work.
If that fails too we contact each other over phone next week or so

Guys be patient now.

EDIT is fine for practice, but REPLY will enable forum readers to see that a new message is posted.

That is something to consider indeed. So maybe you could to both.

They show that you know to both edit and make a new post
Thanks Raffy.

Not to try to rush things, but when we see a post from your sister, we will know and we all will definitely miss the wit and wisdom of a member called nooby!!

She has a Swedish interface on a Win XP computer
with Internet Explorer as the basic browser
but that is only my wild guess. My computer
only has an English interface so I have no clue
on how the forum texts looks like :)

She will have to guess what Edit could be on
Ms IE.

Haha I am so impatient that I barely could sit still.
I trust she make a try next week.

In case somebody miss the point with test.

I want to instruct her so she can sign in some 9 months
to 12 months from now and send a big warm heart felt
thank you for being there for me when I made the big
transition from Win XP, Vista, Win7 to Linus of any kind.
Took me two years of more. Depending on what one mean
by using the word accomplish. I trust that I am more fluent
now using linux than what I where a few years ago.

I am most likely the Dummiest Linux user that there ever was.

I barely remember from one week to the other.

Show up when it comes to get DHCP and such set ups.

That is on the tech side but what warmed my heart most where
the care and patience so many of you showed knowing
that this Nooby is a bit behind and would need emotional support also.

I agree it is a kind of luxuary to make these kind of posts.

I cetainly don't have to and I stress your patient too
being this self centered. Ifail to make or take the whole impact
on me that from statistically being sure of that I would live on
to me some 80 years old and then accepting maybe I only have
5 more years and then shortening this down to three after the first operation.
And then 2 years and now at most 1 year and to be more dramatic.

That was way back in 2013? So it is April soon
so the one year deal with reality is down now to statistically
to at most 12 minus 3 months. Jan, Feb, March being what he
dared to give me. Ihave to be congratulated that I will have
a warm friendly summer wind on my face
when it goes down the drain. :)

Maybe some hours from now around 15 or 3 PM our Swedish
local time.she will take time to give it a test. Hope it works out.

Sioster make me a phone call if you fail to sign in or to log in.

That your computer talk Swedish and mine English makes it
a bit more complicated though. So folks cool that you are
way more practical about it. If it works then it just works

Worked very good indeed, Now we only need to find a place where
to keep the instructions so you have them when needed. so you have them available some 10 to 24 months in the future or more if I manage to survive the Cancer tumor. I have four of them so I doubt I am some exception to the exceptions. rather the opposite.

I have not exercised eaten healthy foods or something so I
will rather have a very short life span to look forward to.

I doubt that I live more than what the statistics say but who know.

So thanks for taking time to check it all out if my instructions
did work out as we planned. We keep contact over the phone.

I am more into Cylons who resurrect in the Hub.
Puppy forum being my Cyber software Hub.
humanoid Cylons had the ability to download their consciousness
into another body when the body they are using dies, giving them
virtual immortality (until the fourth season episode "The Hub").
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylon_%28r ... #Etymology
The Cylons were created by a reptilian race, also called Cylons.

However, the reptilian race died out centuries earlier,
presumably destroyed by their own creations, leaving behind
only their race of robots.

Aw... that's so sad. Well, sad for those who survive him...

nooby, I know you can't read/hear/see this, but it needs to be said...

I never saw a photo of you. I never heard your voice. I have no idea what you looked or sounded like, but that does not mean I didn't care about you. I wish you were still around and (hopefully) recovering from something you had beat. I'm very sad that this isn't the case.

I'm glad you are beyond the suffering you experienced from your illness. I really believe that you were a good person and a wonderful person and a great member of this forum.

I hope wherever you wind up, now that you've passed into that vast expanse that lies beyond what we can know and experience and tell about in life... I hope that wherever and whatever you are now, you are happy and being treated well. Take care in the Great Beyond.

Most importantly: nooby, you are --and will be, for some time, I think-- missed.

"Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind..."

...aw shoot, where the heck did I leave the tissue box...?

(Just coincidence -- I have Pandora Internet Radio on, and it started to play Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" about a third of the way through typing this. Good pick, Pandora...)
