Unable to download more than 100 emails

#1 Post by NETTKNUT »

I have been running puppy linux for a couple of years but recently the email client - Thunderbird - has locked up. I was transferring my files to another computer and was downloading my emails anew. After about downloading about 100 messages I got the error message 'RETR command failed' and I was unable to download any more messages. I created a sub-folder on my inbox and moved all the emails there but it did not help The RETR command had not succeeded and I got an error message reading ' Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop3.mypostoffice.co.uk responded: No such blob: mailbox=39330, item=2360, change=7300 '. I have no way of knowing whether this problem is in seamonkey or thunderbird but I urgently need to get thundebird OK again. Thanks for any assistance you can give.

hi NETTKNUT

look at the last post on this thread

seems you need to visit your email in the browser and delete a file.
