Precise 5.7.1 Retro "CsipeszPup" Rev.16 Eng/Hun 2017, May

#1 Post by csipesz »

Edited:
precise-5.7.1Retro-CsipeszPup-Rev16EngHun2017May.iso 685.3 MB

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B38lNu ... sp=sharing

Here though the history:
I present myself with a new CD again; I feel it so, till now this best one, which I was able to prepare,.
You may use 3 window managers: jwm, openbox, and xfce/compiz, but this latter one you may put it up, if you wish, because he is not a pre-installed wm.
The compiz/xfce-install files enclosed in the iso!
Is similar to the ones until now, so that I do not comment on it more richly - you try it!
Only a warning: the bluetooth and the compiz/xfce is not consistent with each other - if you use the bluetooth sfs, till xfce/compiz will not work - but if you unmount the bluetooth sfs, so xfce/compiz will OK.

Hello, Tote! I am glad, that liked my work;
I did not commit the mistake signaled by you already again here.
(You know, the citruscut theme and the hardinfo :) )

thanks, Partsman - somebody likes him finally.
Only the jwm/openbox environment works correctly, but the compiz/xfce though so beautiful, that we may forgive him for those few mistakes of his.

Not in vain, I use it too. It's just that I have your retro 'slimmy' set up just as I like it and it's working so well it's my current favourite. :D

Very good work!

Almost forgot. Something wrong with the k3b and I don't know what her really problem is with it. Maybe I was stupid, because I run the system as root and she doesn't like it? No recognize any optical driver but the other programs do. Anyway it doesn't matter, whatever. Strange brew.

A hang beállítása némely pupletben pici varázslatot igényel.
Pl. a Tahr Puppyban minden egyből jó.

@lackomajor:
Másvalami: a puppy linuxok alapvetően mindig root üzemmódban futnak - hála istennek!
A fact: sad, but that's right: all Linux programs are not able to run it temporarily on a Puppy Linux, guaranteed one, what you find in the packet handler or on other places.
I do not know this though the k3b, this some CD burner?
But that situation, that with the inbuilt CD burners almost perfectly I was being satisfied. So much were my trouble merely, that the pburn did not want to check it the burned CD... the burniso2cd does this nicely conversely.
Something else: the puppy Linuxes fundamentally until all of them root they run in a mode of operation - thank God! - I am not James Bond in order to struggle with the input of passwords at the time of all boots  that way there he is the puli-puppy 383.
In case of volume control problems:
tray>volume icon>right mouse button>setting>tray-„ear
