There was a problem with the first upload of PupControl-2.4.
If you downloaded in the last few hours, please download again.
Thanks

PupControl-2.5. See main post.
- Removed PupSysInfo and PupKview from the main PupControl package.
- Updated versions of PupSysInfo and PupKview are available as optional packages (see download links in PupMates below).
- Recommendation: If an older version of PupControl is already installed, please uninstall and remove the old folder (/usr/local/PupControl) before installing the new packages.
- Added support for Woof-CE.
- Added unified system information option in the System tab (i.e., system information utilities are integrated in separate pop-up menu).
- Added Update-menu option in Shutdown manager.
- Added support for lxsession and openbox-session in Shutdown manager.
- Updated ScreenSaver Control to version 2.0.
- Updated JWM Configuration module includes a new, comprehensive tray manager (JWMtray) that integrates multiple panel functions in a single GUI (screenshot below).
- Added Menu-manager option to Utility tab (calls Woof-CE menumanager if installed; or defaults to PupMenuEdit if installed - requires PupMenu 3.5 or greater).
- Added support for qwallpaper, packit, uextract, wmstartups, menumanager, inxi.
- Improved access to the GTK Theme changer in the Desktop tab (i.e., change the GTK theme without exiting/restarting PupControl).
- Removed support for Fatdog64. Note: PupControl-2.5 supports Lighthouse64 and Slacko64, and standard 32-bit Pups.

Under rerwin's Super Lucid Puppy 2, I uninstalled 'built-in packages' the existing PupControl, and removed the folder as you said.
When I clicked on the new pet, it failed to install.
What can be done to restore PupControl?
Thank you,
Sheldon

The Puppy 'Remove builtin packages' script does not remove all components of the original pet installation. Specifically, residual resource files from old versions of PupControl (prior to version 2.5) will interfere with the new PupControl.
1 - In ROX-Filer (or your current filemanager) please manually delete the /usr/local/PupControl folder.
2 - Deleting the PupControl folder will remove the old resource files, and the new PupControl-2.5 pet should install correctly.
3 - At this point, if the pet does not install correctly, you could download a fresh copy with Pwget or similar utility. In my experience with firefox, direct browser downloads are sometimes unreliable.
Thanks Sheldon!

Whew!
Finally it works.
I did all your steps. Had never before used Pwget.
I booted another Puppy to remove the "inode/unknown" PupControl in /usr/local/
After I mounted /mnt/home/SuLu/sulusave-Dec28.2fs
Many thanks.

Ah sorry. I read now the topic once new version 2.7 installed. It was said to remove previous one. Sorry.
Problem with resize are not due to PupControl, after checking the forum topics.
