How do I boot from CD and save session to USB pen drive

Noob here. Love the pup! Great community too.

I can't boot from USB flash (no boot from USB option on my BIOS) and assume no CD burner on computer. Would like to know if anyone has experience booting from ISO CD and then saving session to USB flash drive so the next time I booted from ISO CD I would be able to open the saved session from USB. Oh and no floppy drive eiterh :(

There were some issues with that, that were fixed for 2.11.
