Thanks a lot, 666philb.

Did not know that it is in the Lucid Repo.

Downloaded, created a LazY Puppy SFS, executed from the RunScript and runs. :D

Precise 5.7.1 retro.
In PPM I do see Thunar 1.2.3, not 1.6.3

Philb must have been looking @ Slacko's version. The one you see is the latest for Precise.

Unless there's some additional functionality the latest version provides, yours should suffice.

Why, in your *own* build tree of course. :D You build it, we'll test.

rg66 has a Thunar-1.6.3.pet, that might work.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but does anyone know why the thunar-1.0.2-Lucid.pet is 4.3mb when downloaded from http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... ges-lucid/, but 8.9mb when downloaded from http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/pupp ... ges-lucid/ ?

Seems suspicious......

There are several other mirrors across the web and all those that I've checked so far claim it is 4.3mb, and even tell my browser that it is (so that the downloading dialog gets to 100% before the download is done). When downloaded, however, they are all 8.9mb.

The file command suggests that the ibiblio pet is the only one that is compressed. The others are plain tar archives. Still kind of strange, IMO.
