For those interested I am gradually compiling some simple Freeware at http://www.sigord.co.uk//SubmitsLinux/LinuxSoftware.htm using Freebasic.

I use an online compiler at http://fbc.deltalabs.de/ Although the compiler is really intended for Debian Linux, I find many of my programs listed do work with Slackware Puppy.
